Exciting news to announce that we have just placed an order for a handful of BMC URS AL TWO gravel bikes to dip our toes into the world of gravel bike hire here in Adelaide.

The exact release date of the gravel bikes is not known yet due to there being no stock in Australia at the moment, but keep an eye on our website for further information.

For those of you that would prefer our Merida Scultara 4000 road bikes then these will still be available. They are cleaned and serviced after every hire, so they are in great shape mechanically.

AFL GATHER ROUND SOLUTION FOR ZIP LINE RIDE

Only a few weeks after developing an e-bike and cargo trailer transport solution, we received a request from an interstate company that provided the zip line ride in front of the Adelaide Oval, across the River Torrens.

Over four days the zip line company travelled a total of 100km shuttling helmets and harnesses back to the start of the zip line with one of our e-bike and cargo trailers.

What a great event for South Australia, and happy to play our little part.

Did you know that we have previously provided e-bikes, with cargo solutions, to several large event management companies that set up long distance walking and running courses. These events require large and small signage to be positioned on walkways that are not accessible by car.

This photo is of our modified cargo trailer, which holds 900x600 corflute course signs. We can also fit a rear bike rack with pannier bags for smaller signs such as directional arrows.

Well that's a wrap for the Tour Down Under!

What a busy two weeks it has been, with a record number of bikes delivered to customers around Adelaide.

Today we finished cleaning and servicing the last bike that was picked up last night. Only a couple of minor repairs to the fleet except unfortunately one bike has gone to bicycle heaven after being in a crash.

Our customers from around Australia, NZ, UK, Belgium, US and Canada had an absolute blast. It's has been a pleasure to be able to provide our premium bike hire service so they can experience Adelaide and the Tour Down Under.

And finally I would like to thank the whole team at the South Australian Tourism Commission for putting on such a great event to promote South Australia and it's world class cycling and holiday regions.

P.s. For those of you that are keen to experience cycling in Adelaide, don't worry if you missed the TDU, the riding here can be experienced all year round. Or if you like the TDU then think about riding the week before the TDU when all the pro teams are training up in the hills or along the coast.
